We have arrived!

Well, today is our first day of our tour. We landed in London safe and sound and spent the afternoon at the National Army Museum next to the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. The museum focuses many on Britain's war efforts throughout her history starting from 1066 to present. After the visit to the museum, we did a bus tour of Central London, taking in sites such as Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Canada Gate, Buckingham Palace (the Queen was not in today), the Parliament buildings, and a scenic but rather dreary drive along the Thames. From there, we drove down to our hotel in Havant and are getting ready for an early start tomorrow morning.

Weather is rainy/snowy, gray skies and a balmy 1 degree Celsius.
